The Cambridge Compact for a Sustainable Future held an energy efficiency workshop for multi-family buildings on 25 April 2017. Co-hosted by Homeowner’s Rehab, Inc. and the City of Cambridge, this workshop covered both the benefits of making buildings more energy efficient and the tools and options available to do so. Topics discussed were:

  • Homeowner’s Rehab, Inc.’s experience saving money and energy with through energy efficiency
  • The new Eversource Multi-Family Retrofit Program
  • Cambridge programs and incentives, including free WegoWise energy analytics subscriptions and free solar assessments and advising service by Zapotec Energy
  • Massachusetts’ clean heating and cooling options and incentives
  • New Ecology’s tools to identify and take advantage of the biggest opportunities for savings across a building portfolio
