The Cambridge Energy Helpline can help you find ways to save on your energy bill, access City programs, and help you explore clean energy options for your home.

The City of Cambridge has partnered with the nonprofit All In Energy to connect residents to energy-saving programs that can help you upgrade your apartments and buildings and reduce your energy bills – all at no-cost. If you have questions about any of the programs listed below, please contact us and we can help guide you through accessing different Cambridge programs.

The Cambridge Energy Helpline is available to Cambridge residents at no cost to you. Call us today to ask questions and get connected to the following programs.

Energy Bill Check-Up

Helps residents take control of their energy bills, assess which programs are best for them, and help them get started. Programs include reduced gas and electric rates, utility bill assistance, repayment and forgiveness programs, heating fuel assistance, help to get off expensive 3rd party energy suppliers, energy efficiency, and more.

Renter/Landlord/Homeowner No-Cost Energy Assessment

Renters, owners and landlords of single-family homes, apartments or condos in buildings with 1-4 units can get started by requesting a Mass Save® no-cost Home Energy Assessment. If you live in a larger building or aren’t sure if you qualify, reach out to the Cambridge Energy Helpline to get started.

Community and Rooftop Solar

Community solar allows anyone with an electric account (including renters!) to support the development of solar projects while saving money on their bill. All without installing solar panels on their roof.

Rooftop Solar

Cambridge Community Electricity

The Cambridge Community Electricity Program is the default electricity supplier for all electric accounts in Cambridge. Check your bill to make sure you are enrolled or opt up to receive 100% renewable electricity.

Electrify Cambridge

Helps Cambridge residents make their home more healthy, comfortable, and energy efficient with all-electric home energy upgrades. Electrify Cambridge provides no-cost advice from technical experts and can help you access all available financial incentives.
