All in Energy and the City of Cambridge have teamed up to save condo and homeowners energy and money through state and utility incentive programs, starting with a no-cost virtual energy assessment! As a home/condo owner you can get access to energy-savings programs that can help you upgrade your apartments and buildings and reduce your energy bills – all at no-cost and without anyone coming into your home until it is safe.

If your building is 1-4 units, the no-cost virtual energy assessment provides:

1) Advice on energy-saving measures that you can implement in your home.
    2) Eligible energy-saving measures such as:

  • LED light bulbs
  • High-efficiency shower heads
  • Programmable thermostats
  • All mailed at no cost to you for virtual assessments or installed during on-site assessments.

    3) Property owners may be eligible for additional discounts, such as:

  • 100% off of approved insulation – for a limited time only during the coronavirus pandemic
  • No-cost targeted air sealing
  • Savings up to $2,750 on high-efficiency heating equipment
  • No cost recycling of a freezer or fridge plus a $75 reward
  • 0% financing through the Mass Save® HEAT Loan Program

How does it work?

To start, we encourage you to request a Virtual No-Cost Home Energy Assessment. The assessment is performed by a Mass Save® home performance contractor.

All you need is a phone, the technology to do a video chat and/or send photos of the home over email, and access to your building or apartment to install eligible energy-saving measures.

If you are a property owner and cannot get into your building currently, you can still schedule an in-person No-Cost Home Energy Assessment to occur later when it is safe. But you must request a visit by calling (617) 430-6230 or clicking the link here to schedule.
