We request your email address when you sign up for CEA services because it is necessary for us to serve you and your neighbors effectively. CEA expects to work with tens of thousands of entities in Cambridge, and the only realistic way we can keep track of individual projects is for the majority of communication to occur by email. Of course, we are also available by phone when necessary, but we appreciate your understanding in this matter. While we strongly urge you to make an email address available, we understand that not everyone is able to do so. If you do not have an email address, add your phone number to @example.com and use this instead like so: 617-555-0488@example.com
Please note that while we will never sell or distribute your email address, or other details you provide, it is sometimes necessary for us to share this information with other organizations we’re collaborating with, where appropriate, in order to serve you.
