Energy Activities for Kids

CEA is proud to work with the City of Cambridge to bring energy efficiency into the classroom. In summer 2011, CEA Youth Liaison Dana Rubin collaborated with local youth and sustainability leaders to create a series of energy efficiency activities that are fun, educational, and interactive. Aimed at students aged 9-13, the activities prompt children to use their hands, brains, and imagination to make pizza in a solar pizza box, construct a mini wind turbine, and learn about home insulation, energy conservation and more!
