Assessment Process
Step 1: Sign-up
Explore our website and learn about ways you can save energy and reduce your carbon footprint, including getting an energy assessment. Sign up for a CEA energy assessment now, and be sure to save keep an eye out for your confirmation email which contains additional directions to prepare you for your assessment.
Step 2: Receive a Home Energy Assessment
An Energy Specialist will visit your home to perform your scheduled energy assessment. The Energy Specialist will inspect leaks, insulation, appliances, aerators, shower heads and other sources of energy loss, then provide you with a list of recommendations.
Step 3: Follow-up Call with the CEA Energy Advisor
A couple of weeks after your assessment, a CEA Energy Advisor will follow-up with a call. The Energy Advisor will help you connect to information that you need to get your home improvement project done, including:
- All available incentives and rebates for the recommended measures
- A range of options for financing the project
- Financial tools to help you determine cost and payback
- Contracting services available through our partners and other sources
Step 4: Installation
Our energy service partners or other selected contractor installs energy efficiency measures, usually within 60 days.
Step 5: Enjoy Savings & Comfort!
You enjoy the savings and the comfort, knowing that you have invested in measures that will benefit you and the planet for a long time to come.
