Enhanced Audit

A trained technician from from Next Step Living will come to your home for 2+ hours to conduct a thorough assessment of your home’s energy usage to identify the main sources of energy loss. This is similar to the free audit, but for the additional $100 per unit fee the technician will use an infrared camera to identify leaks and search for areas of poor insulation.

Your auditor will help you see and understand your home’s improvement opportunities in a customized, detailed way. You will then receive a comprehensive, quantitative report on your home’s performance will within 48 hours. This report includes a prioritized list of recommendations for additional savings measures:

  • Options for air-sealing, insulation, heating and cooling system replacement, and much more; if you follow through with certain recommended improvements the initial fee may be rebated.
  • Information on financing and payback options so you know the monthly return and can make the right choice tailored to your home.

After your assessment you will receive a follow-up call to:

  • Ensure your satisfaction.
  • Help you understand the recommendations of the next biggest opportunities to save you money and reduce energy usage 10-40%.
  • Arrange for Next Step Living or a pre-screened, quality contractor to execute the work.
