CEA is looking to hire individuals who are interested in promoting energy efficient solutions to Cambridge residents.

The Cambridge Energy Alliance is running a fall canvass program in the City of Cambridge to promote awareness on efficiency programs and services available to Cambridge residents. Community canvassers will receive basic training in energy efficiency programs and canvassing techniques to offer information and resources to targeted communities in Cambridge.

The project aims to reach approximately 3,000 households with door to door canvassing on October 17, 18 and 24th (9AM–5PM). CEA is looking to temporarily hire 7 community canvassers and 1 lead canvasser. Canvassers will track the public’s response in order to help connect interested parties to energy efficiency services and products. This is an excellent opportunity to fight climate change by promoting efficiency programs to help residents save money and cut carbon, while earning extra cash. Community canvass hourly pay will be $10 per hour and $11 per hour for the canvass lead.

Excellent verbal communication skills are a must. Canvassers will be traveling together in a team to promote efficiency in Cambridge. Skilled riders with bicycles strongly preferred.

Interested applicants should submit resumes with letters of interest by October 8th to Lilah Glick at work ☺ CambridgeEnergyAlliance.org with the Subject: “Fall Canvass-Your Name”
